More Seating along the Great Glen Way
The Great Glen Way Seating Project aims to put seats at view points, in sheltered areas and other points along the route where a rest is likely to be greatly appreciated by all route users.
So far this project has only been able to operate as resources have become available.
With your help, the view where you thought 'this would be a great place for a seat' will have one sooner rather than later.
We are sure you will agree that there are some great spots for seats along the Great Glen Way, but we can't put them in without your help.

In mid 2008 10 recycled plastic benches were purchased and are currently being installed at various sites along the Great Glen Way by the Rangers and British Waterways staff. The Rangers are also making wooden seats using timber from fallen trees as they are cleared from the route.
