What better way is there than to walk a section of the Great Glen Way then sleep out under the stars!.Trailblazers' Rest

The Trailblazers' Rest is modelled on similar areas in Scandinavia and has been planned in conjunction with Forestry Commission Scotland.

On entering the area, route users will find a basic three sided shelter, a bio toilet and picnic tables complete with 'safe' areas onto which stoves can be placed. As with other areas of the Great Glen Way, campers will be welcome to use the area provided they are responsible and adhere to the Scottish Outdoor Access Code.
