GGW Ranger Guided Walks and Events
For Great Glen Way Ranger events, the minimum number of participants for any event is two. Where booking is required for walks, please book a minimum of 2 days in advance. The Great Glen Way Rangers reserve the right to alter or cancel any event. For more information on events, please contact the Rangers.
Walk Grades
A - Walking on established paths on various surfaces and slopes.
B - Walking over paths and rough/boggy ground at low level. Reasonable level of fitness required.
C - Walking over rough/boggy ground and some hills. Reasonable level of fitness required.
D - Walking through and over mountainous terrain. Good level of fitness may be required.
Highland Ranger Events - Season Tickets
Season tickets for 2012 are now available from the Great Glen Way Rangers or from any Highland Council Countryside Ranger team. This ticket costs £20 for individuals and £40 for families (up to 5, max 2 adults). Once purchased, you can attend as many ranger events in Highland in a year as you like (exluding long distance walks).
