Alltsigh Route Update: Low Route Reopens, Temporary High Route Closure - February & March

Part of the high route near Invermoriston will be temporarily closed from February 2026 to allow essential quarry works to take place. The route is expected to reopen by the end of March 2026.
Diversion near Invergarry
People wishing to link through Invergarry will have to follow a short diversion path while the regular route is closed for harvesting work.
Great Glen Way set for major upgrade with new off road route
A new path will be constructed between Grotaig and Drumnadrochit, providing users with an alternative to travelling along the lengthy section of road.
